In addition to reading a lot of books lately, I am also considering co-authoring a book with a good friend. We have not completed the topic discussion yet, but it will take into account a lot of our experiences with corporate work and performance.

I have been encouraged by several people to write a book over the years, but I have felt that my lack of management experience would make it hard to be credible. The nice thing about my co-author is that she is an experienced executive which will free me to bring an individual contributors perspective to the book.

I am sure that I am getting myself in for a lot more than I planned with this, but it should be fun to explore ideas with someone I have a lot of respect for. I will post more as ideas develop.
