…Oracle is sending formal letters to customers who either have Peoplesoft or are thinking about it, that within THREE years, they will no longer support Microsoft SQL Server as a database platform. I have a hard time believing this, since Oracle currently runs on Windows, has for a long time and will probably continue to do so. Long-term, this may backfire on Oracle, forcing a customers’ hand with a more expensive database platform.
Is this true?
